Who isn’t busy these days and would love to gain some time back for self-care?
Which reminds me, I will start Self-Care Sunday Newsletters soon!! Definitely, come back and check that out. I’m so excited to start it. I’m still figuring out this whole website thing. If you guys ever contemplated starting anything like this, just jump in and do it!
First things first, how I gain some time back!
I used subscription services to my advantage. My top 3 places that I subscribe to to make my day-to-day run smoothly. I wanted to share this because I think if certain things were on auto-pilot (i.e. having kid vitamins shipped on a schedule) then it’s one less thing I need to run out for (and these the less running out, the safer and more time back to you!)
- Amazon Subscribe & Save
- FabFitFun ($10 OFF https://share.fabfitfun.com/x/UxV9dt)
- Thrive Market ($25 OFF http://thrv.me/GeZ7Tx)
Amazon Subscribe & Save
This is a semi-no brainer! Who isn’t on Amazon these days and ordering left and right?? I am constantly finding ways to optimize and make things efficient and I have to say, Amazon Subscribe and Save definitely helps me with that because the items I subscribe to are usually reminders too! My main items include, but not limited, are:
- Air Filters (for the home and air purifiers)
- Kids/ Adult Vitamins
- Cleaning products (my specifics here are the monthly dishwasher cleaners, washing machine cleaners – usually not fun things I would actually want to sit around and shop for – so I have that on autopilot now!)
The beauty of it is that the more you subscribe, the more you save! Whaaaat?! On top of that, if you don’t like how the schedule is running, you are seconds away from making a few swipes to change the schedule or just cancel altogether! No contracts – which I do appreciate.
FabFitFun
I was skeptical when I read the reviews on these subscription boxes, but I tried it out for a season and actually enjoyed it! I came back to the US after my deployment during the winter and right before COVID hit and boy, did I need a pick-me-up! And that’s how I stumbled on these cute boxes! Mine actually came today and I’m gonna share the deets soon. I’m so excited! Who doesn’t like a surprise? I will say I did curate some items in my box and left a few items for a surprise! I can’t even remember what I ate for lunch yesterday, so it’ll all just be a great surprise! This is where I hide my self-care in because it’s a nice reset and enough items to treat yourself without finding time to go out and search for products. Stay tuned and I’ll show you the goodies! Last season I got a ton of facial and lotion items, which was perfect because I was running low. If you can’t find a good code, I have one here ($10 OFF https://share.fabfitfun.com/x/UxV9dt)
Thrive Market
So, I’m lactose intolerant with a very sensitive gut. I am fortunate to have a Whole Foods 2 min away, but with impeding schedules and such, it just made more sense to me to cut down on grabbing one thing here and one thing there when I could plan it ahead of time. Once I figured out my rhythm (which took about 2 purchases) then I was able to use the auto-delivery on my select items and some I couldn’t find or it was sold out at WF. I switch from vegan (for dairy-free reasons) to paleo to Whole 30 pretty often and the selection on Thrive Market is pretty cool. On top of that, they donate a membership to those who cannot afford to have access to these items, which always tickles my heart when I can stretch my dollar! And again, if you’re interested here is a coupon to save! ($25 OFF http://thrv.me/GeZ7Tx)
Definitely no pressure, just love to share the good word! Everything is my own opinion.
So, in a nutshell, that’s how I gain some time back for myself. Definitely drop a comment on any tidbits that you use. I would love to learn more ways!
